This caught my eye a couple of weeks back when we had a few days in a row with temperatures almost reaching triple figures.
Across the yard and one cow was taking a proactive approach to cooling down...
She had plented both front feet in the water trough and occasionally flapped them around to splash water over the rest of her... pretty smart for a cow I thought. Actually, having got herself into the trough I'm not entirely sure she could work out how to get back out again.
