Expected delivery date and still no sign of Bubs...

Well, I was never on time for anything so why should Bubs be any different?? :))

Today's check up went fine - Bubs seems well as does Mum-to-be so we're not too concerned about anything. Some slight progress in the right direction but nothing to get excited about just yet... it could be a week... it could be tonight... who knows!

Anyway, a lovely sunny w/e just gone and some experimenting with plaster of paris yesterday makes for a couple more pics you might find interesting...

No change here - Safi makes short shrift of a stick she found by the lakeside... that's it in bits by her feet!

Look Saf... there's another one!

Safi shows no fear and leaps right in - quite a difference from her, "Don't laugh, help me I'm drowning" days.

Yup, she's quite the swimmer these days. No requirement for Adam to strip to his undies at a moments notice... much to his disappointment. ;)

See, look how wistful he is thinking back to Rutland Water that time!

Yup, defs still pregnant!

Still smiling tho... actually, I'm not too sure what this face is doing!? I'll call it a smile, but maybe it was more of a grimace... another Braxton Hicks perhaps??

Now then, what's all this...

The supplies are gathered and Adam is at the ready...

... some time and much gloopiness later...

TADAAAH!
One belly cast - done. Okay, so it was boobs too but we figured you don't all need to see that bit!

Once the cast is properly dried out we'll maybe get round to putting a pic of it on here. It was good fun to do, really messy but worth it.

It was quite fascinating and a bit emotional [or maybe that was just me - J] seeing the cavernous interior of the bump, and to realise that Bubs is still safely nestled in there... hopefully not for too much longer mind.

The plan is to put Bubs's little hand and foot prints inside it whenever he/she decides to come out... not sure how tricky that might be tho.

That's it for now. We'll keep you all posted on progress when we can. Wish us luck!
