After a great couple of weeks Jayne's folks left yesterday and have returned safely to UK... only a day late after flight cancellations due to a wicked Nor'easter that came through the region a few days ago.
Speaking of storms, Mam and Dad T had little other than snow, sleet and rain to enjoy during their stay. Now, a mere day after they left, we're back to what had been typical sunny days and bright skies! Sorry folks - at least the prolonged winter weather meant you got some skiing in on much better snow than anticipated.

... just in time for a bit of whale spotting from I-89!?
The rest of the Thompson trip included trips to Shelburne Farm, The UVM Morgan Horse Farm, a US barbers (for Dad... he so needed a haircut, tho he was surprised and pleased to also get a nice shampoo and back massage included!), down to Lake Champlain, numerous eateries and the building site for our new house (more on that later). We also played an extraordinary amount of Rummikub, which Mam was extraordinarily good at, despite screaming 'Domino' whenever she won... I think it was the wine...
